Recap: Louisville loses to BC, Brock Domann takes over at QB after Malik Cunningham injury
- Oops!Something went wrong.Please try again later.
Coming off an impressive 41-3 victory over South Florida, the Louisville football team (2-2, 0-2 ACC) hopes to secure its first ACC win of the season when it travels to Boston College (1-3, 0-2 ACC) for a 12 p.m. kickoff.
With both teams in similar positions, the Cardinals will look to win their second straight game against the Eagles. Boston College, however, has won three of the last five meetings with U of L.
Last week, Louisville showed growth in its running game. Malik Cunningham led the way with 113 rushing yards, but Trevion Cooley (75 yards on 11 carries) and Tiyon Evans (51 yards on 13 carries) also played a big part.
On defense, U of L may be challenged by Boston College wide receiver Zay Flowers, who is considered one of the best receivers in the ACC. Flowers is currently the second-leading receiver in the ACC with 330 yards and three touchdowns on 29 receptions for an average of 11.4 yards per catch.
That also puts him 35th among FBS players in yardage and 36th in yards per game with 82.5. The next closest Eagles receiver is George Takacs with 166 yards and a score on 16 catches for an average of 41.5 receiving yards per outing.
