Live updates: Masonic Temple demolition set for Friday night
ZANESVILLE — The Masonic Temple in downtown Zanesville is set to start Friday night, sources tell the Times Recorder.
It was originally believed it would start Thursday, but gas line work stalled the process.

Reporters are on scene tracking the developments.
Here's what we know so far.
6:06 p.m.: Crickets
Spectators in cars are lined up on both ends of Fourth Street awaiting the demolition. It is 18 degrees in Zanesville.
The road and sidewalks are blocked off with barricades and police cruisers.
A high -reach machine is set up outside the temple at 38 N. Fourth St. Crews are outside waiting for the green light to start the demo.
7:05 p.m.: Here we go...
Demo has begun!
7:13 p.m.: Demo continues
Crews are working from the top-down with a high reach machine to take down the 120-year-old building.
More cars have lined up to watch the work, although some are turning around and leaving now that the demo has been confirmed.
Dust is flying through the air as the machine starts gutting the dilapidated structure.
The machine continues work on the top floor.
7:50 p.m.: Portion of corner is gone
A significant portion of the northwest corner of the building has been removed.
Crowds are starting to form again as demolition proceeds.
9 p.m.: Work paused while moving crane
Crews are in the process of repositioning the crane to the other side of the building. It's been about 30 since they paused working.
9:57 p.m.: Work stalled
Progress has stalled, and no work is being done at this time. Crews have pulled down the high-reach machine and are welding a part onto it. Less than half the structure has been taken down.
10:15 p.m.: Crews continue on
The high-reach machine is plugging away again at the Fourth Street side of the building on the top floor.
Large chunks of rubble are falling onto the sidewalk in front of the temple.
11:10 p.m.: Repositioning
Equipment is being repositioned on the back side of the building.
A large portion of the building has been taken down, about half of the part facing Fourth Street.
