EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Teddy Bridgewater made his debut as the Miami Dolphins' starting quarterback today when Miami visits the New York Jets.

Bridgewater filled in for Tua Tagovailoa, who suffered a concussion last week against the Cincinnati Bengals and is out indefinitely. But an early injury led to the debut of rookie Skylar Thompson.

The Dolphins looked to get back to winning ways after a 3-0 start, followed by their 27-15 loss in Cincinnati.

The Jets came off a 24-20 win in Pittsburgh and were 2-2. QB Zach Wilson returned from injury and threw for 252 yards in that game.
