RECAP: Middleboro (Team New England) plays LLWS opener vs. Southeast Region

After clinching four championship titles to cap a lifetime's worth of epic baseball tales this summer, the dream finally came true: the youth baseball pride of Middleboro arrived in Williamsport for the Little League World Series.

From here, the opponents only get tougher. And the stage, it hasn't been this grand since 1994 -- Middleboro's last trip to the LLWS.

“I told the coaches in the dugout – this whole thing feels like a dream," manager Chad Gillpatrick said after the regional title win last week. "I kind of had to shake myself and pinch myself to make sure it's not. We're still alive."
