South Carolina football coach Shane Beamer will speak at SEC Media Days in Atlanta, joined by offensive lineman Jovaughn Gwyn, wide receiver Dakereon Joyner and defensive lineman Zacch Pickens.

The Gamecocks went 7-6 last year in Beamer's first season, including a 38-21 win over North Carolina in the Duke's Mayo Bowl. USC went 2-8 in the year prior to his arrival. The program added nine transfers to its 2022 recruiting class, including five from Power Five schools. Most notable is former Oklahoma quarterback Spencer Rattler.

Joyner is a redshirt senior who began his career as a quarterback before moving to slot receiver the past two seasons. He started at quarterback in the bowl victory due to injuries and was named MVP. Pickens is a senior who has started 20 games the past two seasons and has become the team's best defender up front. Gwyn is a redshirt senior right guard whose 34 starts are the most on the team.

Beamer will speak from 2:25 to 2:55 p.m. followed by the players from 3:20 to 3:40 p.m.
