Replay: Texas men top Penn State, advance to Sweet 16 for first time since 2008

DES MOINES, Iowa — Led by Dylan Disu, Texas overcame a late deficit and topped Penn State 71-66 to reach the Sweet 16 for the fist time since 2008. Disu, the senior from Pflugerville who played his first three collegiate seasons at Vanderbilt, matched his career high with 28 points.

Timmy Allen added nine points and 12 rebounds, and Jabari Rice chipped in 13 points off the bench. Texas will face either Pittsburgh or Xavier next Friday in Kansas City.

Dylan Disu has maintained his elite play with 12 points and six rebounds, hitting one of his patented floaters after another, and Timmy Allen has stepped up large.
