1:13 p.m. — Fourth set, match, Ohio State. The Buckeyes were simply too steady and took the Gophers out of their system after the first set, winning the fourth set 25-20 after Minnesota tried to stage a late rally. The loss ends the Gophers season and Hugh McCutcheon's tenure as coach. Game report coming soon.

1:10 p.m. — Crucial challenge here, the Gophers seem certain that a net violation by Londot happened on a long rally that ended with a Buckeyes' point. Minnesota wins the challenge, Ohio State leads 21-17.

1:07 p.m. — Ohio State is close to putting away the Gophers. Another kill by Londot has the Buckeyes leading 21-14.

1:05 p.m. — The Gophers are trying to mount a rally, but Ohio State keeps finding an answer. It's 18-13 in the fourth set.

12:55 p.m. — Outside of the first set, this match is starting to be reminiscent of Ohio State's sweep of Minnesota at Maturi Pavilion earlier this season when the Gophers simply couldn't get going offensively. It's 12-6 in the third. The Buckeyes' 11 service errors are keeping the Gophers alive.

12:52 p.m. — It's another run for the Buckeyes, this time 3-0 as they jump out to an 8-5 lead in the fourth set. McCutcheon calls his first timeout. The Gophers offense just can't find rhythm. After hitting .500 in the first set, they are now hitting .189 for the match, and -.100 in this set. Meanwhile Ohio State continues to surge, hitting .429 as Jenaisya Moore (11) and Rylee Rader (10) reach double digit kills.

12:43 p.m. — Third set, Ohio State. Service pressure, stellar defense and Emily Londot has the Buckeyes up 2-1 on the Gophers after winning the third set, 25-21. Londot has 24 kills, matching a career-high.

12:40 p.m. — McCutcheon uses a challenge on an Arica Davis touch on a point the Gophers have to have, and the point goes to the Gophers. Ohio State leads 22-20.

12:25 p.m. — Emily Londot has 18 kills on 29 attempts for Ohio State. 13-12 Gophers.

12:20 p.m. — McCutcheon is raising his fist with good reason. Gophers 5-0 scoring run gives them a 10-8 lead as Ohio State calls a timeout.

12:19 p.m. — The Gophers outside attack is really struggling. Taylor Landfair, after posting 6 kills on 8 attempts in the first set, has just one kill on 14 attempts since. Ohio State leads 8-6 in the third set.

12:13 p.m. — We have our first challenge! Ohio State coach Jen Flynn Oldenburg looking for a touch off the Gophers block early in the third set. That means very slow, slightly grainy zoom shots of the replay to see if Arica Davis or Jenna Wenaas touched the ball. The call on the court stands, 2-0 Gophers.

12:05 p.m. — Second set, Ohio State. After a first set where the Gophers attack could do no wrong, the Buckeyes' defense surged to a 25-21 win. Minnesota managed just eight kills in the second set.

12:02 p.m. — The Gophers service reception is slipping down the stretch as the Buckeyes lead 23-19. McCutcheon takes his final timeout of the set.

11:47 a.m. — Once again, Ohio State answers back and takes a 9-7 lead as the Gophers attack is faltering.

11:40 a.m. — The block is alive. Carter Booth running the net as the Gophers jump out to a 6-2 lead in the second set.

11:35 a.m. — First set, Gophers. Mckenna Wucherer uses a tight angle to finish a 3-0 run. Gophers 25-22. The offense was blistering on both sides in that set. Minnesota hit .500 — Landfair 6 kills, 8 attempts — and Ohio State hit .433 — Londot 8 kills, 11 attempts.

11:30 a.m. — A couple of crucial moments, a Carter Booth attempted block was negated when officials said Ohio State's Mac Podraza was trying to set the ball, giving the point to the Buckeyes. It's 22-22 as McCutcheon takes his final timeout.

11:25 a.m. — Madness. The first set is swinging back-and-forth, 21-20 Minnesota as the Gophers take the lead on a point where Jenna Wenaas seemed to have to score twice.

11:21 a.m. — That timeout worked for the Buckeyes, Gophers struggling to stop Emily Londot who has five kills. It's 17-16, Minnesota, as Hugh McCutcheon calls a timeout.

11:18 a.m. — CC McGraw is everywhere. Ohio State calls timeout trailing 17-13 after a Jenna Wenaas kill.

11:15 a.m. — A little run from the Gophers pushes the lead to 14-10 but the Buckeyes answer right back. Minnesota leads 15-13 at the first media timeout after a wicked kill from Mckenna Wucherer. The Gophers are hitting .667.

10:45 a.m. — This is a full day of NCAA tournament action, with all eight Sweet 16 matchups taking place. Nebraska and Oregon are already underway in Louisville and the Cornhuskers won the first set. Minnesota defeated Oregon in four sets at home in September and won at Nebraska to finish the regular season two weeks ago.

10:40 a.m. — The Gophers volleyball team is hoping to move into the regional finals of the NCAA tournament and, to do that, Minnesota will need to defeat Ohio State in today's match at Austin, Texas.
