Vanderbilt football coach Clark Lea will speak at SEC Media Days in Atlanta, joined by tight end Ben Bresnahan, linebacker Anfernee Orji and quarterback Mike Wright.
Lea is coming off a 2-10 first season, the Commodores' second straight winless SEC campaign, and faces an uphill battle to do better despite one of the program's best recruiting classes. Vanderbilt faces a tough schedule with two road non-conference games and road games against national title game participants Alabama and Georgia.
The Commodores have a quarterback battle between Wright, Ken Seals and AJ Swann, making the decision to send Wright to Media Days raise eyebrows.
Lea will speak at 9:30 a.m. CT followed by the players from 10:25 to 10:45, first Bresnahan, then Orji, concluding with Wright. All will be aired on SEC Network.
