Florida defeats South Carolina in super regional baseball series opener

Inclement weather delayed the first game of the Gainesville Super Regional between South Carolina and Florida.

The No. 15 Gamecocks and No. 2 Gators are two of the final 16 teams left in the NCAA Baseball Tournament, and the winner of this weekend’s best-of-three super regional will advance to the College World Series in Omaha.
