Follow live updates below as SpaceX targets 6:11 p.m. EST Monday, Jan. 31, for the launch of a Falcon 9 rocket and Earth observation satellite from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

The payload, COSMO-SkyMed Second Generation FM2, or CSG-2, is slated to fly from Launch Complex 40 and weather is nearly 100% "go." Three previous attempts were delayed due to poor weather; a fourth attempt was scrubbed due to a cruise ship violating Falcon 9's exclusion zone. You can read more about the cruise ship incident here.

The booster for this mission will land back at Cape Canaveral, so residents and spectators should be prepared for the sonic booms that follow.
