Follow live as SpaceX targets 9:02 p.m. ET Tuesday, Jan. 18, for the launch of a Falcon 9 rocket and batch of 49 Starlink internet satellites from Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

This evening's launch marks the third of the year for Florida and third mission featuring a southern trajectory, a historically rare occurrence. The 36th launch for Starlink will include an instantaneous window, meaning Falcon 9 must fly on time or delay to another day.

Weather for liftoff, according to the Space Force, is nearly 100% "go."
