Pike County killings trial continues Monday
WAVERLY, Ohio – The seventh week in the Pike County killings trial of George Wagner IV began Monday.
This far along, the prosecution is expected to call more of its star witnesses in the days ahead. Those include Wagner IV's grandmother Fredericka Wagner, mother Angela Wagner and brother Edward "Jake" Wagner.
Angela and Jake Wagner agreed to testify last year when they changed their pleas to guilty in the 2016 shooting deaths of Pike County's Rhoden family.
Wagner IV has maintained a not guilty stand from the beginning, along with his father George "Billy" Wagner III.
He is facing 22 counts in connection with the Rhoden deaths, including eight for aggravated murder. Billy Wagner will face the same next year.
