Livent: 4Q Earnings Snapshot

PHILADELPHIA (AP) _ Livent Corp. (LTHM) on Thursday reported a fourth-quarter loss of $200,000, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier.

The Philadelphia-based company said it had a loss of less than 1 cent on a per-share basis. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 5 cents per share.

The supplier of performance lithium compounds posted revenue of $78.4 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported profit of $50.2 million, or 34 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $388.4 million.

Livent expects full-year revenue in the range of $375 million to $425 million.

Livent shares have risen 39% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $11.86, a decrease of 11% in the last 12 months.
