Livestock report from the Oklahoma City Stockyards:

Receipts: 705; Last week: 604; Last year: 564

Monday's Actual Receipts: 9,659

Compared to last week: Slaughter cows $2-$6 higher. Slaughter bulls steady. Demand moderate to good. Quality average to attractive. A total of 326 cows and bulls sold with 72 percent going to packers. Supply included: 54% Feeder Cattle (100% Steers); 36% Slaughter Cattle (91% Cows, 9% Bulls); 11% Replacement Cattle (63% Bred Cows, 38% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 0%.

Slaughter Cows: 1,000-1,485 lbs. Average dressing Breakers $84-$87; Boners $72-$80; Lean cows $62-$66.50; High dressing Breakers $88-$92.50; Boners $81-$83; Lean cows $69-$74; Low dressing $60-$69, Lean cows $50-$59; Very Low dressing Lean $48-$48.50. 750-1,000 lbs. Light weight cows Average dressing $60-$66; High dressing $70; Low dressing $51-$59; Very Low dressing $44-$56.

Slaughter Bulls: Y.G. Nos. 1-2: 1,400-2,020 lbs. Average dressing $100.50-$106; High dressing $109-$115; Low dressing $81-$97.50.

Replacement Cows: Pretested for pregnancy and age. Medium and Large No. 1: 2-4 year old 1,000 lb. cows in 2nd trimester $1,100/head; 5-8 year old 1,325 lb. cows in 2nd trimester $1,025/head. Medium and Large Nos. 1-2: 5-8 year old 800-1,350 lb. cows in 2nd trimester $700-$1,100/head.

Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large Nos. 1-2: 5-8 year old 800-1,000 lb. cows with <150 lb. calves $950-$1,000/pair; 5-8 year old 1,300 lb. cows with 150-300 lb. calves $1250/pair.
