Livestock report from the Oklahoma City Stockyards:

Receipts Tuesday: 905; Last sale 12/14/2021: 1,292; Last year: 1,183

Monday's Actual: 15,073

Compared to last week: Slaughter cows $3-$6 higher. Slaughter bulls $5- $7 higher. Demand moderate to good. A total of 405 cows and bulls sold with 59 percent going to packers. Supply included: 55% Feeder Cattle (100% Steers); 23% Slaughter Cattle (94% Cows, 6% Bulls); 22% Replacement Cattle (100% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 0%.

Slaughter Cows: 1,000-1,800 lbs. Average dressing Breakers $69.50-$73.50; Boners $66-$72; Lean cows $57-$65; High dressing Breakers $74-$79; Boners $73-$73.50; Lean cows $66-$70; Low dressing Breakers not tested; Boners $63-$64; Lean cows $50-$52, Very Low Lean cows $44; 900-1,000 lbs. Light Weight Cows Average dressing Boners $70; Lean cows $57-$59; High dressing and Low dressing not tested.

Slaughter Bulls: 1,500-2,200 lbs. Average dressing $84-$94; High dressing $100-$105; Low dressing not tested.

Replacement Cows: Pretested for pregnancy and age. Medium and Large No. 1: 5-8 year old 1,380-1,450 lb. cows in 2ntrimester fancy $1,250-$1,360/head. Medium and Large Nos. 1-2: 2-4 year old 900-1,125 lb. cows in 1st thru 3rd trimester $810-$860/head; 5-8 year old 975-1,200 lb. cows in 2nd and 3rd trimester $825-$900/head; 8+ year old 1,125-1,185 lb. cows in 2nd and 3rd trimester $810-$950/head. Medium and Large No. 2: 5-8+ year old 1,000-1,125 lb. cows in 3rd trimester $675-$750/head.
