It's been a busy month already in Central Indiana news with contract drama involving the Colts' best player Jonathan Taylor, and another Taylor announcing she is coming to town.

GenCon and a famous donut both came to Indy, the Indiana State Fair is fully underway and former President Donald Trump and Mike Pence sparred following Trump's latest indictment.

Those were a few of our top stories of the month, but let's take a look at the questions you were searching and the answers you need to know.

Who ...

In non-Taylor news, you were asking who is Angus Cloud? Cloud played Fezco on the hit HBO series 'Euphoria,' but sadly passed away at the age of 25.

There was also some interest in wondering who Taylor Swift's opening act will be during her Indy shows. The short answer is Gracie Abrams, a singer Taylor has called one of her favorites. You know her dad, and you almost certainly have heard her voice in a non-musical way.

Indiana showed some range this week as who invented calculus was also a top search. English scientist Isaac Newton and German philosopher Gottfried Leibniz both claimed credit for the mathematical system, but there may be another group that deserves mention.

The "Kerala school," a little-known group of scholars and mathematicians in fourteenth-century India, identified the "infinite series" — one of the basic components of calculus — around 1350, according to an article in the CBC.

What ...

A recent lawsuit had Indiana and the nation asking, what did Lizzo do? Three former dancers filed a lawsuit against the singer accusing her of weight-shaming, sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment.

Among other accusations, one plaintiff in the lawsuit, Arianna Davis from Indianapolis, claims Lizzo pressured her to engage with nude performers at a club in Amsterdam, called attention to her weight, and forced her and other dancers to re-audition for their spots during a 12-hour rehearsal in which Davis soiled herself rather than leave the stage and risk losing her job.

You also had questions about Gencon, including what and when it is. It is the world's largest gaming convention, and was expected to bring an estimated 70,000 people to Indianapolis this week. It is already underway and runs through Aug. 6.

When ...

You are asking when the meteor showers happen in Indiana, and you're in luck. There are multiple showers active right now, according to the American Meteor Society.

  • Southern Delta Aquariids are active from July 18th to August 21st, but the peak night passed on Jul 30-31.

  • Alpha Capricornids are active from July 7th to August 15th, but the peak night also passed on Jul 30-31.

  • Perseids are active from July 14th to September 1st, and the peak night is yet to come on Aug 12-13.

Green lives in Indianapolis, and we caught up with him in 2022 to hear why he chose the Circle City when he had every option available to him.

And the weird ...

And of course, it wouldn't be a week in Indiana search history without a few odd questions that have us wondering what the heck you are up to.

This week's included, how much is a kilo of silver worth? According to the exchange site Monex.com, it's coming in at about $757.

The one that really had us scratching our head was your question, where you might find eels near isles, until we realized it was a clue in the NY Times crossword. We'll keep this spoiler free in case you haven't done it yet, and just let you know the answer is here.
