If anyone knows how to serve a look, it's Lizzo—especially where beauty is concerned. Whether it's through wigs or her natural hair, the “Truth Hurts” singer never fails to keep fans hanging on her every move. Green hair! A superlong ponytail! A purple ombré moment! Every single style is flawless, and now she can add fire-engine red hair to the list.

Lizzo showed off her new red ’do on Instagram on Sunday, October 25. “Y’all can't handle red Lizzo,” she wrote in the caption alongside a few emoji and a shout-out to her hairstylist, Shelby Swain.

Take a look at it for yourself, below. The red shade is perfect for fall—everything from pale copper to electric scarlet is still trending hard this season, upkeep be damned—and the loose spiraled texture is gorgeous.

On TikTok, she also posted a behind-the-scenes video of Swain painting the root-smudged shade onto a blond wig, which is what helps the color look so vibrant and the lowlights appear natural despite the bright hue. The result is, well, fire.

Lizzo's red hair isn't the only power move she's made recently. The rapper wore a dress with the word vote splashed all over it to the 2020 Billboard Music Awards and gave an impassioned speech about voting

“I’ve been thinking a lot about suppression and the voices that refused to be suppressed,” she said. “I wonder, Would I be standing here right now if it weren’t for the big Black women who refused to have their voices be suppressed? I just want to say if you’re at home watching this and you are thinking about changing yourself to feel worthy, this is your sign to remain true to who you are. When people try to suppress something, it’s normally because that thing holds power. They’re afraid of your power. There’s power in who you are. There’s power in your voice. So whether it’s through music, protest, or your right to vote, use your power, use your voice, and refuse to be suppressed.”
