'We’ll fight again' -Bolsonaro supporters returning home

STORY: Many of them were taken to a bus station in Brasilia so they could return home.

Some 1,000 protesters were detained and taken to the National Academy of Federal Police Facilities to be questioned by police after anti-government mobs sacked public buildings on Sunday (January 8).

Most of the supporters of far-right former President Bolsonaro were detained on Monday (January 9) as troops dismantled a camp in Brasilia from which demonstrators set off on Sunday to storm Brazil's Congress, Supreme Court and presidential palace.

Buses took Bolsonaro’s supporters to a bus station in Brasilia so they could return home. Many carried bags and luggage.
