You’ll Never Guess How Christina Anstead Actually Revealed Her Pregnancy
Most people reveal pregnancies to their partners in cute, romantic, and often planned-out ways...but Christina on The Coast star and home renovation guru Christina Anstead decided to take a different approach when telling her new husband, Ant Anstead, the big news-one that involves a morning cup of coffee, a pregnancy test, and a whole lot of excitement.
"So I ran out to tell [Ant], and he wasn’t there," Christina told People in their new issue about the day it all went down. "He always makes coffee in the morning, so I just chucked the pregnancy test in the coffee cup, because I didn’t know what to do and I wanted to surprise him, and I ran around the corner.”
“I thought it was a thermometer,” Ant revealed of his initial reaction. “I was thinking, ‘Is the coffee machine broken?’"
We're just hoping that there wasn't coffee already in the unsuspecting new father's morning mug-that would've been quite a commotion.

But, the couple's coffee machine wasn't broken-it was just Christina's way of revealing the life-changing news. At almost 24 weeks, Christina Anstead and her husband are patiently awaiting the arrival of the newest addition to their blended family, a baby boy.
Hopefully, they've washed that coffee mug once or twice since Ant learned the news.
