John Krasinski was back in the office for this weekend’s episode of “Saturday Night Live.”

The actor’s opening monologue Saturday saw him bombarded with questions about “The Office” from “SNL” cast members until he shared a kiss with Pete Davidson, who stepped in to play the role of Pam.

The segment began with Krasinski discussing what it meant to him to be hosting “SNL,” before Alex Moffat and others started addressing him as his character on “The Office,” Jim Halpert.

Moffat asked, “Where’s Pam?” — referring to Jim’s love interest on the NBC sitcom, Pam Beesly.

Krasinski tried to explain that Pam is a fictional character, but Kenan Thompson still urged him to “kiss Pam.”

“Pam’s not real. She’s played by Jenna Fischer,” Krasinski said. “We are friends, and we are married to other people.”

Davidson showed up to offer an explanation.

“I think what’s happening is everyone’s been stuck inside for a year watching ‘The Office’ nonstop, so Jim and Pam are, like, really real for them,” Davidson said.

Thompson then asked if Davidson was Pam, and he others began chanting for Krasinski to “kiss Pam.”

He and Davidson then shared a kiss, earning a cheer from the cast members and audience.

Saturday marked the first new episode of “SNL” of 2021.
