What inspired your book? The short answer is that my first grandchild inspired this project. The boundless potential of her whole life in front of her compelled me to introduce her to a meaningful relationship with Jesus, in creative ways that she could understand. I started writing "Rooted" for my own grandchildren, but soon realized that there are other parents and grandparents who share my heart to lead children in faith and could use a helpful, creative tool to guide them. The Holy Spirit transformed a "family project" into a creative journey to share with many others.
