Local Boys & Girls Club receives new van donated by metro companies

A local Boys & Girls Club has a new way to get around, and the kids are very excited about it.

The Boys & Girls Club of Lanier in Hall County were presented with the new van Friday.

Two local poultry companies chipped in to help buy the van, which will be able to transport kids to field trips and college tours.

“The Boys & Girls Club does a lot for the Gainesville community and Hall County. They have a desperate need for support; transportation is one of those needs that they have,” said Aaron Leach with Wayne-Sanderson Farms.

One van can fit up to 15 people, so many local kids will be able to take advantage of the gift.
