Local brewery offering Leap Day weddings for all

BARBERTON, Ohio (WJW) — This year is one for the books, with things like Leap Day and a serious eclipse taking place. This leads to people wanting to put their special day, well, on a special day.

And Ignite Brewing Co. in Barberton is offering couples the chance to get married on Feb. 29 (Leap Day) this year.

Get hitched locally during eclipse draws national focus

Those who’d like to participate are asked to bring their marriage license along with friends and family to help celebrate the big moment.

The brewery said it’s offering an officiant, but that couples can bring their own if they’d like. Once the couple is married, their first drink is on the brewery.
