Local chiropractor selected as MAC 2022 President’s Award Recipient

DETROIT — The Michigan Association of Chiropractors hosted its annual Fall Convention & Exhibition at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center, Sept. 23-25.

At the plenary session on Friday evening, Dr. Dan Spencer of Hillsdale was awarded the MAC 2022 President’s Award. This award is given annually to an individual selected by the organization’s president in recognition of outstanding service to the MAC and the profession at large.

MAC President, Dr. Lisa Olszewski of Chelsea, presented the plaque.

“Dr. Spencer has done so much for our profession, both here and nationally," Olszewski said. "He is a tireless warrior for chiropractic and is so deserving of this honor.”

Dr. Spencer served as president of the MAC from 2011 through 2012 and currently serves as the Legal Committee Chair for the organization. In 2012, Dr. Spencer was awarded “Chiropractor of the Year” by the MAC.

Nationally, he is the current Immediate Past President of ChiroCongress, and was recently elected as chair of the Chiropractic Summit. He is president of the Contact for Health Chiropractic Centers in Hudson and Reading, Michigan.
