MUNCIE — S.A. Boyce Corp., founded and owned by Scot Adam Boyce since 1974, was sold last month to Joshua and Carmen Jernigan.

The commercial construction company has focused on historic rehabilitation, including windows, masonry and tuckpointing as well as general construction, according to a release.

Prior to buying the company, Josh Jernigan worked for S.A. Boyce for more than 20 years, starting as a carpenter and continuing through his most recent position as estimator/project manager. Scot Boyce will remain with the company for one year as a consultant/advisor.

Solarize ECI to provide info about solar tax credit

MUNCIE — Solarize ECI's January Zoom meeting at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 20 will discuss the extension of the 26% federal tax credit for installing solar panels on house, farm structures and businesses.

The meeting will include a 30-minute presentation and an hour for questions and answers. There is no charge to attend the Solarize ECI Zoom meeting but prior registration is required. The Zoom link for registration is at facebook.com/solarizeECI or by sending an email request to Carolyn Vann, cvann@bsu.edu, or John Vann, jvann@bsu.edu, who are co-team leaders of Solarize ECI.
