Local Couple Donates Activity Books To Seniors, Kids

DEERFIELD, IL — Jamie and Lauren Izaks were recently looking for a unique way to spread some cheer in the local community as we all deal with the coronavirus pandemic. The owners of the Deerfield-based All Points Public Relations often engage in philanthropic and volunteer efforts through the company's quarterly Positive Impact program.

Last month, it all came together as they decided to create an activity book to share with friends, family, neighbors and the community. The All Points team compiled their favorite kids activities, at-home tips and checklists, recipes, exercises and brain games into an all-ages booklet to keep everyone entertained and motivated during their time at home due to the coronavirus.

In total, All Points printed and donated 125 copies to Elevate Care nursing home and 150 copies to the Weinberg Community for Senior Living in Deerfield.

"Throughout these past couple months, we’ve been doing everything we can to remain positive, work together as a team and keep pushing forward, both personally and professionally," Lauren Izaks said. "We understand that these are difficult times, but we remain optimistic about the better days ahead. With the activity booklet, our team hoped to put a smile on everyone’s faces and encourage some much-needed fun."

The team also hand-delivered another 100 copies to families with small children and elderly neighbors.
