While the summer weather is set to stick around a little longer, we are one week closer to fall with school back in session and festival season just around the corner.

The Robinson Film Center recently welcomed a new executive director and now the event space upstairs beside Abby Singer's Bistro has been completely renovated. Check out the photos from the unveiling of the new space where you can hold your events.

The Highland Center in Shreveport have been hard at work creating a new space for kids and adults to get extra learning in all year long. On Saturday, August 20 the new Highland Community Library will open to the public and you're invited to the unveiling party.

The fall wedding season is already in full swing and whether you've been planning your wedding for a while or you're recently engaged, finding the perfect venue is one of the biggest stressors for your big day.
