LOCAL GOLF: Wilson hits ace; pair win HCC tourney title

Few days are perfect.

Occasionally a golf shot is.

Such as the one Bob Wilson launched last weekend to drop in a hole-in-one at Adams Golf Course.

Wilson employed a seven-iron to drive the 126-yard distance from tee to cup on No. 16.

Wilson is no stranger to pinpoint punctiliousness on the links. This was his fifth career ace.

Witnessing last Friday’s one-hole gem were Wendell Price, Bennie Whitworth, Roger Lawrence and Gary Reheis.
