Local high school students receive scholarships from the Osceola County Association of REALTORS

The Osceola County Association of REALTORS has awarded $10,000 in scholarships to 10 local high school seniors.

The scholarship aims to help students continue their higher education at a college, university, or technical school.

Recipients were selected based on a review of their application, GPA, community service hours, and a 250-word essay.

According to the association, the committee reviewed over 70 applications, but only ten students were selected.

President of the Board of Directors for the Osceola County Association of REALTORS, Imran Mohamed, said this year’s recipients have outstanding qualifications and wanted to congratulate them.

“These young men and women distinguished themselves from their peers with their academic achievements, extracurriculars, and service to their community,” Mohamed said.

According to Mohamed, the association has supported local high school students since 2011, giving over $58,000 in financial assistance.
