Local insurance agent awarded grant to help with health coverage enrollment
Sep. 27—An Astoria insurance agent has been awarded a grant from the Oregon Health Insurance Marketplace to help people enroll for health insurance.
Linda Dugan Insurance was one of dozens of community groups and insurance agents statewide who received grants totaling $913,000.
The grant is intended to help people sort through health insurance plans and programs.
Open enrollment will run from Nov. 1 through Jan. 15 for health coverage for 2023.
