Sean McCann, D.O., joined Lakeland Regional Health Physician Group as the Family Medicine Program director. He is a board-certified family medicine physician and a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. He previously served as a primary care physician for the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Lake Nona and has worked as a physician for professional basketball and hockey teams, and ESPN/Disney Wide World of Sports. He is also skilled in managing acute injuries, as well as chronic conditions. McCann earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree at Nova Southeastern University. He completed his residency and internship in family medicine at Florida Hospital East Orlando, where he also served as chief resident. McCann sees patients at the Parkview Family Medicine office.
Zeidan Hammad, M.D., a board-certified physician specializing in family medicine, joined Lakeland Regional Health Physician Group. He has been in practice for more than 37 years. At the High Institute of Medical Science in Camaguey, Cuba, Hammad earned his medical degree and completed his residency in nephrology. He then completed his family medicine residency and served as chief resident at the University of Medicine and Dentistry at Hoboken University Medical Center in New Jersey. Hammad most recently served as a core faculty member and co-director for the Family Medicine Clerkship at the College of Medicine at Florida International University located in unincorporated Miami-Dade County. Hammad sees patients at the Parkview Family Medicine office.
Lauren Fessler, AuD., joined Lakeland Regional Health Physician Group as an audiologist specializing in diagnostic audiology, adult hearing aid fitting, amplification services, assistive listening devices and hearing protection devices. She is skilled in a wide variety of audiologic services including tympanometry, otoacoustic emissions, videonystagmography, computerized dynamic posturography, auditory brainstem response testing. Fessler earned her Doctor of Audiology degree at the University of South Florida in Tampa and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. She is also a member of the Florida Academy of Audiology. She sees patients at the Grasslands campus.
Marianne Ng, APRN, FNP, joined Lakeland Regional Health Physician Group as an advanced practice registered nurse specializing in orthopedics. Ng is also a board-certified family nurse practitioner and has extensive experience in a variety of patient settings. Ng earned both her Master and Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees at the University of South Florida in Tampa. She is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She sees patients at the LRH Medical Center.
WATSON CLINIC
Urgent care specialist Manoj Dhariwal, M.D. provides comprehensive treatments for minor illnesses and injuries from Watson Clinic XpressCare Highlands, 2300 E. County Road 540A in south Lakeland. Dhariwal received his medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine in Saba, Dutch Caribbean. He received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences degree from St. John’s University in Jamaica, New York and a Masters of Business Administration degree from the Maine Business School at the University in Maine in Orono, Maine. He performed a surgical internship at Easton Hospital in Easton, Pennsylvania, and a family practice residency at Flowers Hospital in Dothan, Alabama. Dhariwal completed fellowships in vascular medicine at Cleveland Clinic, Sports Medicine at Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, and emergency medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, New York. Dhariwal is board certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine with a subspecialty certification in sports medicine. He is also certified as a registered physician in vascular interpretation, and is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Delaney Hake, AuD, joined Watson Clinic's team of audiologists. Hake received her Bachelor of Arts degree in speech, language and hearing sciences from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. She received her Doctor of Audiology degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Hake is a certified occupational hearing conservationist by the council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation. Hake will provide audiology services from the Watson Clinic Bella Vista Building at 1755 N. Florida Ave. in Lakeland and Watson Clinic Highlands at 2300 E. Registered nurse practitioner Charles Birge Jr., APRN, sees patients of board-certified Pulmonologist Naem Shahrour, M.D. from the Watson Clinic Main facility at 1600 Lakeland Hills Blvd. in Lakeland. Birge received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Polk State College and his Master of Science in Nursing degree from the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Florida Southern College. He is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Registered nurse practitioner Stacey Mercadante, APRN, serves patients of board-certified Orthopaedic Surgeon and Sports Medicine specialist Phuc Vo, M.D. from Watson Clinic Main at 1600 Lakeland Hills Blvd. in Lakeland. Mercadante received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Tampa. Mercadante is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
