Christmas parade registration is open

Registration materials for the 2022 Cambridge Christmas Parade, to be held at 5 p.m. on Nov. 26, are available from the Cambridge Main Street offices. This year's theme is Santa's Workshop. Forms can be picked up at the Main Street offices, downloaded from the website, www.downtowncambridge.com, or registration materials are also available at eventbrite.com.

Entry fees are $25 for nonprofit agencies and $50 for all others. The deadline to enter is Friday, Nov. 18. After that, a $50 late fee will be added to all entries. For additional information contact the Main Street office at 740-439-2238 or email director@downtowncambridge.com.

Byesville Park board meeting tonight

The Byesville Village Park Board will meet at 5 p.m. today at Village Hall.

MVESC board to meet in November

The Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center Governing Board will hold its regular board meeting at 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 7 at 205 N. Seventh Street, Zanesville.

Applications accepted for Paul Bruhn Revitalization Grant

Applications are being accepted for the Paul Bruhn Historic Preservation Grant. Building owners in the National Register historic district that are listed as contributing in downtown Cambridge are eligible to receive $75,000 in grant funding for building preservation projects (roof, window repairs, point tucking), renovations (second or third-floor housing or revitalization of space), etc. This is a matching grant.

For every $1 the grant recipient spends they will receive $8. This is a reimbursement grant following the Secretary of Interior Standards for Rehab Guidelines. Applications and supporting materials are due to the Cambridge Main Street office by 4 p.m. Dec 9 so that they may select the top project using the scoring as outlined in the guidelines to submit to Heritage Ohio for approval. Teen items needed

Cambridge Main Street is partnering with Secret Santa to collect makeup, makeup bags, bath sets, etc. for their teenage clients. Items will be for males and females and you can drop them off at the Cambridge Main Street office, 123 Southgate Parkway. Logan Road closing for culvert work

The Guernsey County Highway Department announces that Logan Road (County Road 694) will be closed between Pisgah Road (County Road 94) and Whiteley Road (County Road 698) from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday for culvert replacement.

Rolling Hill board to hold special meeting

Rolling Hills Local School District will hold a special meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday, to interview and possibly hire for the treasurer's position. The next regular meetings will be held at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 17, Dec. 15. and Jan. 12.
