Museum program focused on heritage

COSHOCTON − Meet Me at the Museum will be held from noon to 1 p.m. June 27 at the Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum, 300 N. Whitewoman St. The topic of the lunchtime program will cultural heritage as June is Heritage Month.

Locals get OCA awards

COLUMBUS − The Ohio Cattlemen’s Association’s Beef Exhibitor Show Total program had an awards banquet recently at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus.

Lainey Schlabach was sixth for Maine Tainer and was tied for fifth for overall novice showman. Jess Miller had the champion Hereford Steer in the market animals category. All are from Holmes County. Riley Berger of Coshocton County had the champion Crossbred Heifer.

Cutshall makes dean's list

TIFFIN − Memphis Cutshall of Fresno was named to the spring semester dean's list at Heidelberg University.

Locals named to dean's list at MC

MARIETTA − Madison Rehard of Newcomerstown, Beau Priest of Dresden and Kyler Folkert of West Lafayette were named to the spring semester dean's list at Marietta College.

Named to the high honors dean's list were Mia Wiggs of Millersburg, Rader Eastep of Warsaw, Gabriel Tingle of West Lafayette, Samantha Corbett of Coshocton and Kayla Gamble of Newcomerstown.
