Bealls Outlet coming Cambridge

According to the Goodman Real Estate Services Group website, the empty space beside Marshall's in the Parkway Plaza in Cambridge will be home to a Bealls Outlet. The store has a tentative opening set for summer 2023. The company is also leasing for Phase II, which will bring a 52,892-square-foot addition plus two out lots to be developed adjacent to Parkway Plaza shopping center.

Ohio University Eastern dean's list

Ohio University Eastern has named 70 students to the fall 2022 dean’s list. Local students who made the list include Jacob Edwards, Cade Hannahs, Gracie Hayes, Vanessa Leach, and Jacob Maleski of Barnesville, Hannah Anderson and Megan Kelley of Cadiz, and McKenzie Deeks of Cambridge.

The Ohio Mid-Eastern Governments Association will hold its executive board meeting at noon on Feb. 21 at the Buckeye Career Center, 545 University Drive NE, New Philadelphia.

FAO to open scholarship applications

NELSONVILLE, Ohio – The Foundation for Appalachian Ohio announces the upcoming opening of its annual application period for scholarship funds. Applications will be accepted from Feb. 15 through March 15.Information on individual scholarship opportunities, including guidelines, eligibility requirements and application materials, are available at www.AppalachianOhio.org/ScholarshipApplications. Mid-East board will meet

The Mid-East Career and Technology Centers Board of Education will meet in regular session at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 13 at the administrative center on the Zanesville Campus, 400 Richards Road, Zanesville.

Peters Creek Road closing for guard rail repair

The Guernsey County Highway Department announces that Peters Creek Road (County Road 416) will be closed between Redbud Road (Adams Township Road 141) and Campfire Road (Adams Township Road 161) from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday for guardrail repair.
