Students recognized for academics

Zachery B. Pfouts of Cadiz and Emily A. Luyster of Freeport were named to the fall president's list at Kent State University at Tuscarawas

Ava Tank of Cambridge was named to the fall dean's list at Belmont University in Nashville.

MWCD board set to meet

A meeting of the board of directors of the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District will be held at 9 a.m. Friday at Kent State University Tuscarawas, 330 University Drive NE, New Philadelphia.

Planning Commission, CIC slated to meet

The next quarterly (joint with CIC) meeting of the Guernsey County Planning Commission will be at 8 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3 in the County Administration Building first-floor conference room, 627 Wheeling Ave. Any business to be submitted for consideration by the commission must be in the CIC office by the close of business on Jan. 26.

Development Committee meeting Jan. 31

The East Guernsey Schools' Local Professional Development Committee will meet at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, at Buckeye Trail Middle School.
