Soil and water meeting upcoming

ZANESVILLE − The Muskingum Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session at 4 p.m. March 14 at the Rural Services Building, 225 Underwood St.

Muskingum U team places in contest

NEW CONCORD − Three students from Muskingum University placed at recent Ohio Forensics Association State Varsity competition.

Milayna Williams of Columbus was third and Amber Bowering of Bellevue was sixth in the persuasion category. Megan Groves of New Lexington was third in the broadcasting category. Combined team points had the squad moving to second place of the president's division.

Port authority to meet

ZANESVILLE − The Zanesville-Muskingum County Port Authority will meet in regular session at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Welcome Center, 205 N. Fifth St.
