Vehicle overturns following crash

COSHOCTON − The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office reported a two-vehicle crash at 10:42 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of County Road 271 and Clow Lane in Tuscarawas Township.

Authorities said Carrie Meyers, 22, of Coshocton, was traveling west on Clow Lane and stopped at the stop sign. However, she failed to yield to a vehicle traveling north on County Road 271 driven by Michael Watson, 23, of Frazeysburg. The Watson vehicle struck the Meyers vehicle as it attempted to turn left. The Watson vehicle overturned onto the driver's side.

In the Meyers vehicle were Ki Wright, 24, of Coshocton, and Rann Zimmer, 22 and Caitlyn Zimmer, 25, both of Conesville. Watson was treated and released on scene with no other injuries reported. Assisting were Coshocton Fire Department, Prince's Wrecker Service and Coshocton County Emergency Medical Services.

Support group meeting

COSHOCTON − Half Full Support Group will meet from 1 to 3 p.m. March 16 at Central Christian Church, 731 Main St. The group encourages a safe place for sharing for those who have been impacted by the loss of a spouse, child, parent, sibling or friend.

Autism support group having session

COSHOCTON − ASK Autism support group will have an informational meeting at 6 p.m. March 14 at the Coshocton County Career Center, 23640 Airport Road.

Richard Bechtol of Bechtol Law will discuss special needs trusts, the importance of planning for family members of individuals receiving government assistance, probate issues regarding government assistance programs, long term care planning and guardianship planning.

Awareness event planned

COSHOCTON − First Step Family Services and the River View NIKE Club will hold a Walk a Mile in Their Shoes event at 6 p.m. May 3 at the Coshocton Court Square. It will bring awareness to the issues of rape, sexual assault and gender violence.

Armstrong makes dean's list

BEAVER FALLS, PENNSYLVANIA − Senior Brian Armstrong from West Lafayette was named to the fall semester dean's list for Geneva College.
