Local News Briefs: Arch Hill Road to close for 5 days starting Tuesday

ZANESVILLE — The Muskingum County Engineer's Office has announced that Arch Hill Road will be closed for five days starting May 31 for a slip repair from Sweetheart Drive to Murphy Hill Road.
Hicks Road will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday from East Pike Road to Old Wheeling Road for culvert replacements.
Deerfield Road will also be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday from Bald Hill Road to Bridgeville Drive for culvert replacements.
Air Force band playing
ZANESVILLE — The United States Air Force Band of Flight will have a Memorial Day concert at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Secrest Auditorium and Music Hall, 334 Shinnick St. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
The concert is free, but seats are limited. Tickets are available through the Secrest box office and Zanesville-Muskingum County Welcome Center. Call 740-454-6851 for more information.
National Road Yard Sales upcoming
ZANESVILLE — The 19th annual National Road Yard Sale will be June 1 to 5 along U.S. 40 from Baltimore, Maryland, to St. Louis, Missouri. This includes through Ohio and locally through Guernsey and Muskingum counties.

City running regular trash pickup schedule
ZANESVILLE — The City of Zanesville will be collecting refuse next week on its regular scheduled. There will be no delay for the Memorial Day holiday.
