Board of Elections meeting dates

The Coshocton County Board of Elections has changed its regular meeting date from Aug. 16 to 6:15 a.m. a.m. Aug. 2 due to the Primary Election. The board will still meet at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 16 to count provisional ballots, certify the election and set a date for the post-election audit.

MVES board slated to meet

The Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center Governing Board will meet at 7 p.m., Aug. 10, at the Muskingum Valley ESC office in Zanesville.

Senior Center activities for August

COSHOCTON — Line dancing will be at 9:15 a.m. every Tuesday starting Aug. 2 at the Coshocton Senior Center. Senior exercise will be from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays starting Aug. 1.

A present on brain injuries by a speaker from the Ohio Brain Injury Connection will be at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 10. Pallative Home Health will be a presentation at 11:15 a.m. Aug. 17.

Around the House Jingo will be at 11 a.m. Aug. 24 and open house bingo will be at 1 p.m. Aug. 31.

Home Loan announces earnings

Home Loan Financial Corporation, the parent company of The Home Loan Savings Bank, announced net income of $1,293,000, or $0.92 basic and diluted earnings per share, for the quarter ended June 30, 2022 compared to net income of $1,112,000, or $0.79 basic and diluted earnings per share, for the quarter ended June 30, 2021, an increase of $180,000, or 16.2%.

Net income for the year ended June 30, 2022 was $4,156,000, or $2.97 basic and diluted earnings per share, compared to $3,842,000 for the year ended June 30, 2021, or $2.74 basic and diluted earnings per share, an increase of 314,000, or 8.2%.

Total assets at June 30, 2022 were $254.6 million compared to June 30, 2021 assets of $252.6 million, an increase of $1.9 million or 0.8%. .

The Home Loan Savings Bank has two offices located in Coshocton and a branch in West Lafayette.
