Spectrum career fair set for Tuesday

ZANESVILLE — Spectrum is holding a career fair at 7 p.m. Tuesday to hire 50 customer service representatives at its office, 3940 Northpointe Drive.

Customer service billing representatives are tasked with resolving customer billing questions and account issues, adjusting services as requested and upholding customer relationships. They are offered a $20 an hour base pay rate. Jobseekers are encouraged to submit an application before the career fair on Spectrum's website.

Education of Yesterday planned for fall

DRESDEN — Education of Yesterday will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 15 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 16 at 3685 Cass Irish Ridge Road, Dresden.

Admission is a donation. Saturday features a hog roast and band starting at 5:30 p.m. The event is a display of antique farm equipment and other activities.

Northern Local BOE to meet

THORNVILLE — The Northern Local Schools Board of Education will meet in regular session at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the boardroom of the administrative center, 8700 Sheridan Road, Thornville.

Locals achieve at BGSU

BOWLING GREEN — Several local students have been named to the spring semester dean's list at Bowling Green State University.

Students include Kaleb Ihlenfeld, Kemery Aichele and Sydney Hill of Zanesville, Pamela Losego of New Concord, Sara Cade of Glenford, Avreon Dickinson of New Lexington, Seattle Compston of New Straitsville, and Megan Myers of Nashport.

Zane State board to meet

ZANESVILLE — Zane State College Board of Trustees will meet in regular session at 5 p.m. May 23 via Zoom.

Pharmacy having ribbon cutting

ZANESVILLE — A ribbon cutting and open house will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Northside Pharmacy, 721 Taylor St. Matt Perry, president and CEO of Genesis HealthCare System, will speak.

Water bill help available

COSHOCTON — The Ohio Department of Development and MEOAG Community Action Agency is offering low-income households assistance in paying water and wastewater bills through Sept. 30.

One must provide copies of must recent water or wastewater bills, proof of income for all household members, proof of citizenship or legal residency, proof of disability if applicable and other as needed documentation.
