Amateur radio event set

FRESNO — The annual Amateur Radio Relay League Field Day Contest by the Coshocton County Amateur Radio Association will be held from 2 p.m. June 24 to 2 p.m. June 25 at the Brown Farm, 50166 Township Road 200, Fresno.

Radio communications are setup all over the country and operators practice talking with each other along with testing gear and operating technique

Community car and bike show upcoming

COSHOCTON — The second annual Coshocton Community Car and Bike Show will be from 3 to 7 p.m. July 2 around the Coshocton Court Square.

My Cars Radio Band will play from 4 to 6 p.m. and there will be a magic and animal show by Blathmac. There will also be vendors, food and more. Proceeds benefit Blue Star Mothers of Coshocton. More information can be found at the event's Facebook page.
