Graduations set across the area

ZANESVILLE — Schools districts across the area have set commencement ceremonies for graduating seniors.

Graduation for Morgan High School will be at 6 p.m. May 20 at the football field. Graduation will be at 11 a.m. May 21 for Zanesville High School at the football stadium with a rain date of 6 p.m. later that day or 2 p.m. May 22. New Lexington will be at 10:30 a.m. May 21 at the football field, but inside if it rains. Crooksville will be at 2 p.m. May 22 in the high school gym. Sheridan High School graduation will be at 6 p.m. May 22 at the football stadium.

West Muskingum graduation is at 7 p.m. May 27 in the gymnasium of the high school. Philo is at 6 p.m. May 27 at the Power Plant. Maysville is at 7 p.m. May 27 at the football field. Bishop Rosecrans graduation is at 10 a.m. May 28 at the high school. John Glenn graduation is at 7 p.m. May 28 at the high school.

Tri-Valley graduation will be at 7 p.m. May 27 in the football stadium with postponement until 8 p.m. in case of rain. Further postponement will be at 10 a.m. May 28 and then in two-hour increments throughout the day and then moved to 2 p.m. May 29. If needed, graduation will be at 4 p.m. May 29 in the gymnasium.

Tractor Supply has remodeled

ZANESVILLE — The Tractor Supply store of Zanesville at 3660 Maple Ave. has recently remodeled. It now includes a a new, extensive garden center loaded with plants and lawn and garden essentials.

Mosquito control grants received

COLUMBUS — The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued 48 grants totaling $813,610 for mosquito control.

This included $23,010 to the Morgan County Health Department and $4,450 to the Zanesville-Muskingum County Health Department.
