Minor injuries in car versus deer wreck

COSHOCTON − The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office reported a a single-vehicle crash at 8:48 p.m. Sunday on Ohio 16, near Virginia Township Road 288.

Deputies said Thomas Weishaupt, 51, of Kimbolton, was traveling west when he struck a deer. He was treated and released on scene. Passenger Olivia Weishauupt, 42, of Kimbolton, was transported to Coshocton Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.

Assisting on scene were the Conesville Fire Department, Coshocton County Emergency Medical Services and Prince's Wrecker Service.

BOE to have post-election audit

COSHOCTON − The Coshocton County Board of Elections will conduct a post-election audit of the Aug. 2 primary election at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the board office 724 S. Seventh St.

Ridgewood Class of 1992 reunion set

WEST LAFAYETTE − The Ridgewood High School Class of 1992 will have its 30-year reunion at 6 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Boathouse Tavern.

Preschool to hold open house

FRESNO − An open for the Chili Crossroads Christian Preschool will be from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Sept. 19 at Chili Crossroads Christian Church, 29445 County Road 10, Fresno. The free event will include hotdogs, bounce houses, pictures with Peppa Pig and Marshall from Paw Patrol and prizes for children when registered at chilicrossroads.org/open. Israel presentations planned

FRESNO − Pastor Neal and Julie Dearyan will display artifacts and give information about places of the Bible in relation to a presentation on Israel. There will also be Israeli snacks and free Olivewood Christmas ornaments.

The Dearyans are planning a trip to Israel Feb. 20 to March 1. Presentations will be in September at the Millersburg Public Library, Dover Public Library, John McIntire Public Library in Zanesville, Coshocton Public Library and New Grounds Café in Walnut Creek.
