ZPD seeks missing teen

ZANESVILLE — The Zanesville Police Department is seeking a missing teenager from Morgan County.

Dimitri Janes, 19, on Jan. 12 left his home in McConnelsville for Zanesville and hasn't been seen since. The family has informed authorities that Janes has mental disabilities and has threatened to harm himself.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts are asked to contact the ZPD at 740-455-0700. No further information is avaiable at this time.

Civil War Roundtable meeting

ZANESVILLE — The Zanesville Civil War Roundtable will meet at 7 p.m. Jan. 24, at the Putnam Presbyterian Church, 467 Woodlawn Ave.

MCACPS to meet

ZANESVILLE — The Muskingum County Adult and Child Protective Services Board will meet in regular session at 5 p.m. Feb. 3, at the board office, 205 N. Seventh St.

Brown makes chancellor's list

CROOKSTOWN, MINNESOTA — Robin Brown of McConnelsville has been named to the fall semester chancellor's list at the University of Minnesota at Crookston.

Family Network Night upcoming

ZANESVILLE — The Muskingum County Board of Disabilities will have a virtual Family Network Night from 6 to 7 p.m. Jan. 18.

Guest speaker is Heather Rice from Help Me Grown. She will discuss the program and the Department of Health's Children with Medical Handicaps program. Access at gotomeet.me/MCBDD1/january-2022-network-night.

Groundhog Day event goes virtual

ZANESVILLE — The Muskingum County Community Foundation has moved the annual Groundhog Day Celebration and Auction to virtual.

The auction will auction will run from 6 p.m. Jan. 28 to noon Feb. 2, with the raffle drawing at 5 p.m. The winners of the Dick Johnson Civic Leadership Award and the Brian T. Wagner Community Leadership Award will be presented at a later date.
