Triple Sixes closed for slide repair

ZANESVILLE — The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced the closure of Ohio 666 from June 6 to 10 for a slide repair from Bateman Road to Culbertson Road. The suggested detour is Ohio 60 to Ohio 208.

Guardrail work on Linden Avenue

ZANESVILLE — The Muskingum County Engineer's Office has announced that North Linden Avenue/North River Road West will have traffic delays starting Monday from Riverside Airport Drive to Fairview Road for guardrail work.

Franklin Schools BOE to hold special meeting

DUNCAN FALLS — Franklin Local Schools Board of Education will meet in special session at 9 a.m. June 9 at the administrative center, 360 Cedar St. Purpose is construction contracts and other business deemed important.

South Zanesville Council meeting Tuesday

SOUTH ZANESVILLE — The Village of South Zanesville Council will meet in regular session at 7 p.m. Tuesday in council chambers, 23 E. Main St. The parks and beautification committee will meet prior at 5:40 p.m., finance committee at 6 p.m., rule committee at 6:20 p.m. and street committee at 6:40 p.m.

ZANESVILLE — The Muskingum County Board of Developmental Disabilities will meet in regular session at 5:30 p.m. June 9 at the board office, 1304 Newark Road. The ethics council will meet prior at 5:15 p.m.
