SCW show on Saturday

ZANESVILLE − Sothern Championship Wrestling will have a show at 7 p.m. Saturday, at the Jackson Street Civic Center, 928 Jackson St. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Salvation Army Auxiliary to meet

ZANESVILLE − The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary will meet at noon Monday, at the Salvation Army Annex, 515 Putnam Ave.

Linda Eichel of LifeWise Zanesville City will discuss the program's first year for city school students. Activities and volunteer opportunities will be outlined during the businesses meeting. For more information on the auxiliary, call 740-683-3456.

SWCD to meet

ZANESVILLE − The Muskingum Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Rural Services Building, 225 Underwood St.

Board of DD having meeting

ZANESVILLE − The Muskingum County Board of Developmental Disabilities board will meet in regular session at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 14 at the board office, 1304 Newark Road.

Pickin' in the Pavilion ends Sept. 17

NEW CONCORD − The last Pickin' in the Pavilion of the season will be Sept. 17, at Rix Mills Presbyterian Church, 2770 Rix Mills Road, New Concord.

Food will be available at the Chandlersville Community Building starting at 5 p.m. The Stringsounds, steel drums and chorus of John Glenn High School, will perform at 6 p.m.

Locals make dean's list

MANCHESTER, NEW HAMPSHIRE − Benjamin Reiss of Frazeysburg, Mark Spung of New Lexington and Joy Spears of Zanesville were named to the summer semester dean's list at Southern New Hampshire University.

Named to the president's list were Raechel Rossiter of Cumberland, Samantha Goodman of Thornville, Aaron Snell of New Concord, Jonathan McIntyre of Mount Perry and Celeste Nelson, Anjelika Dillard and Makalah McIntire of Zanesville.
