Local nonprofit gives Harrisburg kid star treatment at Wells Fargo Championship

While golfers prepared to tee off, a 10-year-old from Harrisburg got ready for a day he would never forget.

The Wells Fargo Championship is back, and Brayden Naylor is a golf fan who lives with Down syndrome. Thanks to the local nonprofit Dream on 3, Naylor and his dad spent the day at Quail Hollow getting the VIP treatment, from a brand new set of custom clubs to hanging out at the driving range.

Naylor’s father called it a dream come true for his son.

“How do you put into words people doing nice things for your child? Going above and beyond for your child? It just goes beyond things that you can even begin to put into words,” Dallas Naylor said.

Naylor’s fun doesn’t end yet; he and his father will spend Thursday at the tournament as V.I.P. honorary observers.
