Local organizations team up to present screening of 1980s classic 'E.T.' in Downtown Albuquerque

Sep. 18—Yes. E.T. phone home.

Flyby Provisions is collaborating with Homewise, Metropolitan Redevelopment Agency, One Albuquerque and Burque Live to present the 1980s classic, "E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial" on Thursday, Sept. 28.

The event runs from 5-9 p.m. and will be hosted at Homewise, 500 Second St. SW. Tickets are free and registration is at eventbrite.com.

According to Flyby Provisions, the evening kicks off at 5 p.m. with a wide array of family-friendly activities and entertainment.

There will be yard games, as well as music from DJ Monica Bencomo.

For the adults, cocktails with Still Spirits will be available.

Meanwhile there will be freeze-dried candy by Sticky Fingers Candy, loaded french fries by Bang, Bang! Fries, face painting by Kooky Faces, popcorn, cotton candy, games, and more.

The film will begin screening at 6:30 p.m.
