Local restaurant to be featured on America’s Best Restaurants
BLUEFIELD, WV (WVNS) — The RailYard in Bluefield, West Virginia will be featured on America’s Best Restaurants.
America’s Best restaurants will be coming to The RailYard on February 19, 2024.
The Dish Cafe makes Yelp “Top 100 Places to Eat in the U.S.”
Tom Cole, whose family has a long history with the town, opened The Railyard in 2014, and the restaurant can be found in the historic downtown area of Bluefield, West Virginia. Cole opened the restaurant as a way for the community to have a nice dining option. With the restorations of The Granada Theater next door, the timing of Cole’s decision to buy The RailYard worked out.

Even though the restaurant opened in 2014, it ended up being rebranded during the COVID-19 pandemic. Once it reopened, The RailYard offered a wide variety of food options and modern decor.

America’s Best Restaurants is a national marketing and media company whose goal is to get local, independently-owned restaurants noticed. They will show some of the restaurants’ popular dishes, as well as an interview with owner Tom Cole about the effect that The RailYard has had on the community.
The episode’s release date will be announced on the America’s Best Restaurants Facebook page, and will be shown on their website.
