Every year, people from all over the country visit Charlotte Motor Speedway for NASCAR races, music festivals, car shows and more. This weekend will be no different for the Bank of America ROVAL 400.

The race will be held on Sunday, Oct. 8, at 2 p.m., and will also be broadcast by NBC from PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

Fans can find a full lineup of dishes, drinks and desserts inside the race track, but Concord is home to several other nearby restaurants and bars.

There are multiple national chains close by, including Twin Peaks, Texas Roadhouse and Sonny’s BBQ, but there are a lot of local hot spots, too. Here’s a list of some local places to grab a bite to eat at within five miles of Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord:

Ace No. 3

Distance from race track: 2.9 miles

Ace No. 3 is a fast-casual burger joint known for its shakes, burgers and beers. The local restaurant, with two other locations around Charlotte, has specialty burgers and hot dogs, plus build-your-own entrees.

Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar

Distance from race track: 3.3 miles

Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar’s name speaks for itself. The Charlotte-based restaurant and bar, with locations across the U.S., serves traditional and unique burgers along with wings, sandwiches, salads and more.

Craving Mexican cuisine? Enjoy traditional-style burritos, enchiladas, fajitas and other dishes at Charanda Mexican Grill and Cantina. The local family-owned restaurant is about 5 minutes away from the Speedway.

Famous Toastery

If you’re in the mood for Italian food, you can grab a meal at Garofola’s Italiano — about a five minute drive away from the race track. The restaurant offers pizzas, pastas, chicken, veal, seafood, salads and sandwiches.

Iron Thunder Saloon & Grill Concord
